Professional Funeral Service Tailored to Meet the Needs and Wishes of Your Family

The Staff at Chapman Funeral Home understands we all have questions and concerns regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We want our families and the public to know that considering this stressful situation we are still here to serve the needs of our families as well as the public in this especially trying time. We have the safety of our staff and families, as well as the public in mind. We will continue to provide a top level of service that is focused on keeping our staff and our families safe, while respecting the wishes of your loved ones. This virus is not going to limit our ability to assist our families in their time of need. Our number one priority is to keep our staff and families safe, which is why our staff is dedicated to making sure that the facility is sanitized each day to prevent the spread of this and all viruses that we all may have been exposed to. We will also do our part to remain in compliance with the State and Local Authorities as we will be conducting all our services with the necessary limitations and precautions. We are following the advice of The Board of Funeral Service, The Center for Disease Control (CDC), The National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), and our Local & Statewide Health Organizations. We are making decisions based on all pertinent information we receive from those organizations. We encourage our families and the public to respect the requirements imposed concerning public distancing. Try to refrain from handshaking and hugging. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water, also using a 60% alcohol-based sanitizer. Please always try to stay at least 6 feet apart. At this time we will no longer be scheduling public Visitations and Services, meaning only family members and close friends. We are sorry for the inconvenience, and know this is already a stressful time, but it is necessary to follow all precautions issued by the State and Local Authorities. If you have any symptoms of any sickness, please don’t put our families and staff in harm's way by coming to services. We would be happy to allow you to come by the funeral home and pick up a memorial card and sign the register book, as well as post any condolences on our website. We will not limit our services further unless instructed to do so by Local and State Authorities. We want the public to know that despite all this we are going to meet the needs of our families and are available all days and all hours to serve you. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
