Steve attended Philadelphia United Methodist Church and was Employed by Nelson Boston Body Shop.
Preceding Mr. Wellman in death in addition to his parents and Grandparents were Clarence Wellman Jr. and Marcus Speaks. He is survived by one brother, Henry Bernail Wellman and three sisters, Darlene Smyre, Brenda Wellman Powell and Emma Wellman.
A Memorial Services will be held 6:30pm Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Kristy Barnett and Pastor Modean Dunlap will officiate. The family will receive friends at 6pm, 30 minutes prior to the service. A visitation of family and friends will be held after the services at 177 Johnny Martin Lane in Stony Point.

Darlene, So very sorry to hear of the passing of your brother. Prayers for you at this sad time. God in Heaven is our only help. Hope you, Quincy and family are doing well. I miss seeing and hearing from Quincy. He is an honest young man and I wish both of you well. I am doing pretty well except for some "old age" problems. I am blessed to still be on this earth.
