Kathy, Shannon Dan and family, Phil and I liked Steve from the moment we met him. He had a kind nature and a good sense of humor. Most of all he loves Cathy Shannon and Dan with all his heart. We always looked forward to hearing what he and Kathy had been up to and and seeing him when he would find his way down here to visit Dan and Shannon. We know that he was suffering and that now his suffering is over and he is with  God Almighty and that he and Phil will look down upon us and are waiting for us all when it’s time for us to go home.  In the days to come remember that you are strong, resilient and loved.

Shannon: I wrote this for you.
Don't cry for me. I will be ok now. Heaven is my home and this is where I moved to. Don't cry for me Shannon. It was just my time but I know that someday we will see each other on this side. It's beautiful here and you know me, I can adjust well. I am with the angels and you know my pain, fear and worries are gone. Take care of your mother and know that I am at peace now. Please be strong and don't cry for me. I am back to my old self again. I will watch over all of you and protect you. Love, Dad
