Like most of the guys, I was shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Mike. Most of us didn’t even realize the cancer had returned so aggressively. Mike had a great personality and always had a smile on his face. I don’t know if he came to work at Yellow with the nickname “Chicken Man” or if he picked it up along the way, but everyone called him by that name. Nobody meant any disrespect, it just stuck with him. He was always kind to me and just a pleasure to talk with in any conversation. My prayer for his family in mourning is, that God gives them and they receive His perfect peace and they find full ness of joy in knowing that he is in a perfect place and made whole where there is no more sickness.
May the Lord bless his family.

Dear Bryce, Kathleen, Jeff and family,
My heart hurts for each of you during these difficult times! I haven’t been able to follow your lives thru the years but mom informed me that Michael had been ill within the last year! I never knew Michael as a grown man but I certainly have never forgotten him as a teen. He had a tremendous smile, a curiosity for insight and a desire to work/ help! He was a special young man... I am sure he remained that way into adulthood! The message of Easter and Passover is one of rebirth, renewal, regeneration, hope and freedom and with a greater emphasis “ that out of the very worse... comes the very best!” Michael touched my life and I am forever grateful! I hope you feel my love and presence....May God someday wipe all of the tears from our eyes! Until then.... may peace and comfort embrace you!
