Hey Earlene,
I can't imagine how you must feel. I didn't really know Joe well but it's still difficult to think about him not being here. I always thought you guys were the coolest couple I knew. You both seemed so connected and in sync with each other. There's never a right thing to say at a time like this, nothing that I imagine would give you comfort, so I won't pretend to know what you're feeling. I do know that there's more people than you could count who love you and I hope that you feel surrounded and protected in that. I don't know if you believe in God or not, but when I'm in unbelievably gut wrenching pain inside, me and Him have some really angry conversations. I yell at him and scream and share that hurt with him and then I feel this odd peace settle into the pain. It still hurts like hell, but I don't feel quite like a wild animal inside. Sometimes I feel like emotions are too big for anyone but him to handle, and I don't think he minds the yelling.
I love you dearly Earlene, Frankie Johnson

Although I did not know Joe personally I met him one time when visiting CJ. He was a very nice guy. Wish I would have known him more as CJ spoke highly of him. His passing was way too soon and all our thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time. I have worked with CJ for the last two years and he has my upmost respect for Joe as he spoke so highly of Joe.
