I feel so honored to have had the chance to meet Ruby and to be her nurse at Valley.  Though I have not worked at Valley in over a year, I still think of Ruby often.  I remember the stories about her making cakes, her roses, and the news article about the egg.  She was a precious lady and friend to everyone.  She will be greatly missed.

I remember Ruby when she lived in the brick home close to Midway Road. When I was only 17 years old, my Mother was taking me around the neighborhood to sell some kind of tickets to help on our Senior Trip at Scotts. She was very kind and welcomed us into her home. I am sorry for your loss, and may you feel God's presence during your times of grief.
