In addition to Opal’s parents she was preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” Eugene Hays, two brothers, William J. Rose & Herbert E. Rose Jr., two sisters, Doris Ann Rose & Pauline Rose.
Opal is survived by three sons, James R. Hays (Almedia), of Taylorsville, Richard Lee Hays (Carol), of FL, and Ronnie Alan Hays (Teresa), of Statesville, two daughters, Reba Hartsoe (Harold Miller), of Mooresville, & Regina Sue Gibson (Robert) of Taylorsville, two brothers, Larry Rose, of VA, & Billy J. Rose, of KY, one sister, Linda Griffith (Bill), of Ohio, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 7:00 pm Friday, November 8, 2019 at Chapman Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Bowman will officiate. The Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 6:00-7:00 pm at Chapman Funeral Home. Burial will be Saturday, November 8, 2019 at Forest Memorial Park Cemetery in Milton, WV at 2:00 pm.
