Sorry for your loss.  I worked with Kendra at CVMC years ago.  The one thing that stood out about her and what I will remember is the way she treated others,  coworkers and patients.

I didn't know Kendra. Not all. We are only linked by the love for caring for others. I am a Nurse of 29 years. I am so sorry for your loss. Our loss here on earth. An Angel in scrubs has earned her wings. May God give you strength at this time.

Ken, Gail, and Garrett---I am so saddened in your loss.  I have not seen Kendra since she was a little girl but kept up with her life through Sherry. What comfort to know she lived her life in service to others and now is safe in the arms of Jesus! Psalm 34:18 is a comforting verse in God's word. Gail, I will never forget how you served our family during our losses. We love you and will continue to lift you all in prayer in the days ahead. God bless!!! I look forward to meeting Kendra in Heaven one day!  She sounded like a truly special young woman.  She cared for many people as a nurse, and now she's being cared for by Heaven's Angels.   Although I haven't seen you all in many years, my heart is so heavy for you & the family over this loss.  I remember you well and I know what you mean to Aunt Sherry & Uncle James.  I am praying for you & your family---that you feel God's peace, comfort, strength, and Hope in the times ahead.

I'm sorry to hear that you're grieving the loss of Kendra. Jesus felt the pain and sorrow that death brings when He was on earth. John 11:35 "Jesus gave way to tears " because his friend Lazarus had died.

Ken, Gail, and Garrett:
Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family. Kendra touched so many lives. One special memory I have is when mother and I were running Salem Park. We had to run up to the church and make a copy. There we found Kendra studying for nursing school in the parish hall. She was alone and said it was quiet there.  I just know God was by her side adding a little help! When I got cancer along with a few other ones in our church, I would get the sweetest cards from her. She is in heaven now and suffering no more. We love all of you and if you need anything don't ever hesitate to ask. Kendra had a great family and she had a great church family that loved her dearly. Our church family will be there for you just like they were for me(Robin). I will never forget the last time I got to talk to her in church. She had gotten her hat made with her hair and she was so proud of it. Of course she worked it like the model that she was!

My deepest condolences to your family. Kendra was an amazing person and friend. She helped me through a lot of difficult times during high school. You guys treated me as if I were your own. Although through the years we drifted apart my love for her never changed. Her passing has been devastating, but luckily I have wonderful memories of her and a lot of pictures to remind me of all the great times we shared. Sending all my love and prayers to you all. Ken, Gail and family- it would be 7:00 in the evening and a crazy bad day when this smiling, cheerful face would come down the hall from the break room in the ER at Catawba- and no matter what kind of report I was about to give her, Kendra's attitude would be bring it on!! I loved getting the messages from her on her travels, I loved seeing the enjoyment of life in her face in all the pictures she posted. I never, ever saw a picture of Kendra that she didn't have a smile on her face. Please know that I will be keeping you in my prayers while you begin to navigate life without her physical presence but know always that her love for you came through everything I ever read in her messages and posts- loved you deeply. Never forget that.

After I read about Kendra's recent death after just 34 way too short years of precious life, I wanted to express my feelings of sympathy for the Harrington family and friends. I know Kendra has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God, Jehovah (Psalm 83:18), understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18  tells us:  "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit."    Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief.      Most of us have seen this enemy death claim the lives of people dear to us. But  Jehovah God  promises to destroy this enemy, death, once and for all.   Rev. 21: 4; tells us: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." (Isaiah 25: 8, 1 Corinthians 15: 26)  Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life."    Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever.  For Jehovah himself has spoken it."    For more comforting scriptures please visit:     It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me  find the answer to Why?  I know it will do the same for you.  John 17:3  God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises soon here on earth (Psalm 37:9-11, 29), including the resurrection.  None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection  (John 5: 28, John 6: 40, John 11:23-25, Acts 24:15)  I offer my sincere condolences to the family.  Feel free to contact me at my email address.
I pray it will bring you comfort to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled "Keep Your Eyes on the Prize"
or watch this faith strengthening video:  "Can The Dead Really Live Again?"
