In addition to her parents, Iris was preceded in death by, her husband, Fred Carlton Bumgarner, one step-son Dennis Hendricks, one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, two sisters, and three brothers.
Iris is survived by, five daughters, Shirley St.Clair, of Stony Point, Nance McGuire & Sharon Watson (Roger), both of Taylorsville, Patricia Greene, of Wilkesboro, & Janet Sinesh (John), of OK, one brother, Fred Sebastion (Grace), of Wilkesboro, one sister, Mildred Brown, of Hiddenite, nineteen grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren, and eleven great great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 3:00 - 5:00 pm at Chapman Funeral Home. The family requests that memorials be made to Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
