Stewart Randolph “Randy” Brittain, age 56, of Taylorsville, went to be with the Lord, on September 22, 2017 at Iredell Memorial Hospital. Randy was born December 23, 1960 in Alexander County to the late Sanford Pinkney Brittain and Martha Lucille Hubbard Brittain who survives. Before becoming disabled he was employed by Jack Sipe Contruction as a Master Carpenter. Randy was a member of Sound Doctrine Baptist Church in Taylorsville.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Brittain.

Randy is survived by his wife, Janet Woodring Brittain of the home and a son, Samuel and wife Nadia Brittain of New Jersey, one brother, Russell and wife Jackie Brittain of Taylorsville and four grandchildren; Mia, Eli, Lea, and Noah all of New Jersey.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday September 26th, 2017 at Victory Baptist Church, 5076 NC Hwy 16 North, Taylorsville. Pastor Jeff Webb, Evangelist Earl Godfrey and Pastor Phillip Coffey will officiate. Burial will follow the funeral service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Victory Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sound Doctrine Baptist Church Building Fund, 367 South Center Street, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
