I would like to pass a long my sympathy to your and your family. I didn't know your father, but he served with my father on the USS Circe AKA-25 in the war. I have a book that the crew received from the ship that listed all the names of the crew and all the places they sailed and would gladly make a copy and send it to you if you would like. My thoughts are with you in the time of sorrow.

Fay, I'm late sending a condolence to you and for that I aplogize, I have had you in my thoughts tho and always ask Sarah about you.You and RP were such a special couple, Jennifer always loved all the dinners you two prepared. May God hold you in his loving arms and help you to heal your heart, without God I would never have made it through Pete's passing or my grandbabies. We know tho one day we'll be together with them again----God bless you and we love you----

So sorry to hear of R.P.'s passing, Faye. We will be praying for your family. Lisa Bowman - Hiddenite, NC
I am thinking of you and your family, know that you are in my prayers. RP was always in good spirits, and just a great guy to work with. You were always by his side, and it was obvious that you were a good wife. He will be missed, but know that because of God's promise to us thru Christ, you will meet again.
Sincerely, Jason White from AutumnCare - Conover, NC
My deepest condolences to the Sherrill family. I enjoyed the short time a got to work with R.P. at Autumn Care in rehab. We all enjoyed his vast knowledge of gardening and his sense of humor no matter how tough things were.
Pauline and I talked today about RP and what we both remembered about him and we both send our deepest sympathies. RP was so kind and concerned when Anna was ill; I hate that I could not have been closer to him in his last years.
Love to all and God bless you and the family.
Tom Palmer - Statesville, NC
I am sorry I could not be there in person to help celebrate RP's life. Everyone is in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

Please convey my condolences to the Sherrill family. I knew Mr. Sherrill at Autumn Care. He was one of a group of men who ate their meals with my father-in-law, Cecil Newton. We discussed the fact that Cecil's mother was Stella Mae Sherrill, and so Cecil and R. P. were very probably distant cousins. Mr. Sherrill was a fine gentleman and I regret that I did not know him better. He always had a kind word for everyone.
