Vera Eltha Whittle O’Neal, age 89 of 7964 Monbo Rd., Catawba, passed away Thursday May 3, 2012 at Gordon Hospice House, after an extended illness. She was born October 22, 1922 in Jamestown, KY, to the late Horace Whittle and Carolina Norfleet Whittle. Mrs. O’Neal was a homemaker and a member of Friends Church.

No formal funeral services are scheduled to be conducted.
