Walter Vernon George, 78, of 157 2^nd Ave. SE, Taylorsville, passed away Monday, Mar.  31,  2008,  at Hospice House of Catawba County. He was born on Nov. 5, 1929, in Ingham County, Michigan, to the late Albert George and Velma Murphy George. He was  retired from General Motors. Mr. George was of the Protestant Faith.
