Dear Herbert , Debbi, & Melinda
We are so sorry to read in the Shelby Star that your mother had passed away. It had been too long since we had seen her. Jessie and I,(especially me) knew sister Elam and Herbert (Red) so well. Remembering that Herbert and Delouis came to our farm back in the 50's and study with us, gives me great joy to have known your mother and father. They were a great help to us in being in the truth. They were a loving couple, indeed. I so remember being with them at the Gastonia KH on Franklin Blvd. Those were some good days, as I recall when we would go in service Sunday, and after service we would go eat Cat Fish at some place in Gastonia. Best fish I ever ate. I was a teenager at that time. Now (73) Time goes by so fast. We all look forward to the new system, a paradise earth for our loved parents to be brought back to, for the real life. What Adam & Eve did caused all of this hurt, but it will be undone in the near future. Again, our feelings are with you dear friends and if our previous plans can be changed we want to be present Sunday after noon to be with you. Until, hopefully then, please accept our thoughts of sympathy at the loss of your mother. Ralph and Jessie Queen 704-482-2526 eraph1@juno.com |
