Charles Austin Dodd, 69, of 169 Mason Dixon Lane, Statesville, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Iredell Memorial Hospital. He was born on September 14, 1938, in Berrien County, Michigan, to the late Marion Dodd and Helen Longfellow Dodd. He was a retired Machine operator.

A cremation was chosen by the family. No formal funeral services have been planned at this time.

I have known Charley since i was little,my dad(Wayne)has been friends with him way before we had moved to N.C.I would get tickled of some of the things him and dad would get at some the yard sales and think they could resell to make more money.Dad let me know about charley Sunday and I need not to save any more cans for him.I just want you-the family to know that Charley has been a loved family friend and we miss him and my condolences to you his family. -trisha v roberts.
